Boston Bookclub

Because we like to write a lot of emails, because we have trouble reaching a consensus, because we're busy people, and, most importantly, because we all have fascinating insights into literature... we are making this space the space where we do all things 'book club.'

drat - I was intending to post on how the vote seemed even split and how I was in the power seat of deciding which book we would read, etc. etc....
well, I guess my vote could also cause a stalemate, as we are 4-3 in favor of Three Junes.
But I won't.
Becuase my vote is for Three Junes, too...and Greek food!
I vote Life of Pi
"Three Junes"

hey hey hey, I'm finally on and entering the fray!! (Thanks Jen!)
I vote for option 2. Which I think makes it the majority. Jen, can you post the descriptions of the two runnerup books, I've forgotten what they were again.

Hopefully, you all got the evite for Jatinder's Halloween party. Sorry its short notice, and even if you can only stop by for a short time before or after your other festivities I'd love to see you and your costumes. PS, there will probably be some single men there- possibly doctors - not that I'm trying to sway your decisions :)

and now i'm checking that Catherine's account works because, if it does, we are all in the hizza-ouse. aaaaw-yeah! (Jen)
Congrats, ladies. Our 4 gi-normous pumpkins made a difference! (I think they should have counted extra because of their size). Sheila, if you need a trip to the Car Wash, let me know ;)

Keene's Pumpkin festival hits a new record with 28,952 lit gourds (10/26/03)
I'm fine with either option- which is not real helpful I know, but if I had to choose I'll go with option #2. Hey, how was the pumpkin fest?
I am for option #1 also, have wanted to read the book for awhile.
My vote is for option #2.
My vote is for #1. I just want to read it.

Big Brother has not blocked this site! Yippee, can't wait to see the pumpkins. For old time's sake (and the fact that sheila hasn't been able to get into the Blog yet) I sent out an email pumpkin fest.
What is the plan for tomorrow? What time are you guys going to be there, where can we meet etc.

I can't wait to see all the pumpkins!
