I'm surprised that Laurel is so reasonably priced. I walk by it every day on my way to work and it looks quite formal - line table cloths, etc. I'd really like to try it. The 6th works for me.

The sixth is fine with me, and of course, I am always a fan of the Warren Tavern!

Why don't we try and do it the 6th, if everyone is free. That way we can try and beat the holiday scheduling madness. I am all for the Fireplace, but I hear it is quite $$$ for dinner. Maybe the other place?

Oops forgot to put in my 2cents about where to eat. Definitely down for some Greek food. The Greek Corner on MA ave in Cambridge is good, cheap, traditional Greek food!

I am soo excited to discuss the Secret History. Finished it ages ago so I hope I can remember it. I am pretty open in Dec (right now). Although work has been insane and could cont. to pose problems. I will deal with it as it comes up. The night of Monday Dec. 13th is out. A friend of mine is going to be in a belly dancing recital at Karoun restaurant along with Melana (my old belly dancing instructor who is absolutely amazing) that evening. The cover is $10, let me know if any of you would have any interest in going...I am definitely going.

I guess it is time to plan the next meeting! What's it looking like for everyone? I can't do it the 7th, but I think any other time is okay. Greek is fine by me.

What is the Status for The Secret History? Just wondering if we should start making plans on where to meet and when. I figure that b/c it's a 'Greek' laced book that we go to a greek restaurant. My only restriction is that we don't go to the one that we went to before as I did not feel well after that dinner ;(
