I'm pretty sure that I am out for that night since I have a big conference call the next night with clients in Japan that we'll be preparing for. Poop! If anything changes I'll let you know.

Ok, so we're in for the 29th? I'm thinking around 7:30pm? I can make a reservation b/c I'm not sure if we'll need one or not, but should have one with the size.

Yes, go ahead and plan what day to meet, and if I can catch up with you great. The next two weeks are just extremely crazy for me at work. And just in general, Wednesdays don't work very well for me.

Sari, are you saying you want us to plan the day and then if you can come, great, and if not, you're going to miss bookclub???

Wednesdays overall are not that great for me, and I know I'm pretty much out of the picture for the next 2 weeks for sure, especially during the week. However, let me know what date you all decide for I may need a serious breather.

Either one of those days works for me as well. Erin, I feel bad that you compromised your wednesday night :( I promise I'll compromise next time ! :)

That was a great story! The question I can actually answer without the class (why is it that the swears in a foreign language are the words that stick with you the most?) I do believe he was calling you a bunch of shits. Shit in italian is merdi, but sounds quite similar to shit in french (merde).

The good news is he was not about to murder you (to murder is assassinare/murder is assassinio).

Wow that was dusting off some old Italian lessons, hence me signing up for a conversation class.

Wow..we are a busy bunch of people. So reading through all the posts this is what I have determined.
Sunday-Bad
Monday-Bad
Tuesday-Bad
Wednesday-Not so Bad
Thursday-Bad
Friday and Saturday-Bad (i.e. we must maintain are wild, crazy partying lifestyles..just joking).

So it looks like Wednesday's are probably the best night to shoot for.

I would propose Wednesday March 29th (pro-it may be the first date that most of us could make, con-no Kelly) or Wednesday April 5 (pro-Kelly could be there, Con-it is my month close and I am not sure how early I can get out of work so if we made it 8 or later I could be there orI could just come late).

Hi there! I'm back in Boston the week of April 1- 8 (but not night of April 4) if we end up moving to then...

More importantly, I have a request of Erin - when you start your Italian class, could you please ask the meaning of the word that is phonetically pronounced "Mehr-duh" - one of the guys I was with this weekend (Yoni) managed to spark a fight while we were negotiating with a gondolier about some McDonald's that he was eating and the gondolier guy suddenly got his back up, got all up in his grill (Yoni's a cop) chased us away with one of his gondolier buddies yelling "Mehr-duh! Mehr-duh! You a' hear me? Mehr-duh". We all scuttled away quite hastily (picure Monty Python and the Holy Grail "Run away! Run away!") and then debated whether he was saying "Murder!" as if he was going to kill us or simply trying to tell us that we were shit. Either way, I want to know.

Bloddy Italians.

Hi Everyone. I am excited to be joining bookclub but my schedule might pose a problem... I just started a class on Monday nights and it runs until June.

I can't do any Tuesday, so the 28th doesn't work for me.
I'm pretty sure that Aaron has classes on Monday.
What about Sunday night? Either this sunday or next?

I cannot do the 30th (as noted in a previous post I have an Italian class).

The 27th (Mon.) or 28th (Tues.) would be preferable since I usually go out of town on Wed's (which would be the 29th). If no other night works, I can try and reschedule Wed.

Okay, I really AM the problem child now. I don't think I'm getting into Boston until 9pm on the 23rd (my email just went down so I can't confirm). As soon as I know for sure I'll let you know.

So looking through the posts Thurs. 3/23 may be the only day that works next week (it is the only one no one has said is bad).

If that is a no go then we are onto the following week. My preference that week would be Mon. (3/27), Tues. (3/28), or since Wednesday's in general are not good for me (although if that is the only day that works I can move things around) and starting Thurs. March 30th I am taking an Italian class (which runs 8 weeks?).

I have kindof a tough schedule for the rest of the month. I am not available Wed or Thursday of this week, nor am I available Tues or Wed of next week (work meeting in VA). I'm okay for any other days. Sorry to be the problem child!

Wednesday the 22 works for me and kendall hotel sounds good too.
I am now listed as the administrator for the blog so I can add Aaron, but I wasn't aware that we had discussed it. I think its a good idea, I just want to make sure everyone agrees.
