Boston Bookclub

Because we like to write a lot of emails, because we have trouble reaching a consensus, because we're busy people, and, most importantly, because we all have fascinating insights into literature... we are making this space the space where we do all things 'book club.'

A family of lepers gave their money from begging to support his dream? Seriously?

But her dress is really lovely. Although I'm sure I don't need to express my feelings on a 29 year old being worried about her expiration date.
Our next book club book won by a landslide: Then We Came to the End by Joshua Ferris.
So here's the NYT vows article I was talking about, she's desperate to marry and he has no integrity - but I really liked what I saw of her dress!

Message for Sara / Erin & Leigh-
Did you guys see my email about Aaron's bachelorette weekend? Please email me at maggee@gmail.com...

Trying to get a head count to figure out where we want to go....

Okay so the 26th at Upstairs on the Square, let's meet at 7:30pm.
91 Winthrop Street • Cambridge, MA
(in the heart of Harvard Square)

See you soon!
Best, Wendy
I like both ideas too! If we do nights, 26th works!

Or if we decide to do a weekend tea, my weekends are pretty open right now. I have no specific plans, just trying to get up to NH to ski if anyone is interested.

Aaron, would think you are up next!
Oh and I think it is my turn for the list, right?
The 26th works for me!
I like the tea idea the best, but if the consensus is doing the TUesday night, that's fine too. I can't do the 19th as I'm traveling home to Coop for my mom's hip replacement surgery...
I like all these ideas and am game for all of them. What date were we thinking - are we aiming to go back to Tuesdays toward the end of the month so that would be the 19th or 26th of this month? both dates work for me.
Any of the mentioned locations are fine with me! What date are we thinking?
I LOVE the idea of Upstairs on the Square- it's a perfect vibe! It is a little pricey though. Do they do lunch? We could combine tea-time with funky Mad Hatter vibe?

I think we could only make "tea time" (3pm - 5pm) on the weekend -would you be willing to come into boston on the weekend Wendy?

This website runs down all the places to have tea in boston,
http://www.bostonteacup.com/

I was thinking Upstairs on the Square had that "surreal animals" vibe. We could also do dinner there if people didn't want to meet on the weekend butt its a tad pricey.

Hello-

So I guess it's time to start thinking about our next meeting... Shouldn't we have tea? What about the place on Newbury Street? Kelly will you be in town on an upcoming Tuesday? I also love to go to the Ritz near Sara. Just my 2 cents.
