In terms of where to go, I'm good with either Myers + Chang or Kowloon's, though for me coming all the way back into town isn't ideal, but I'll go with the consensus since Kowloon's is far for some of you as well.

Can do Mon. 12/6 or Tues 12/7...will have to check on Wed. 12/8. Chinese works for me...I am good with Kowloon or Golden Temple (but we have been potentially more than once). Chengdu (I think that is what it is called) on Mass Ave b/t Harvard and Porter is pretty good.

Another favorite of mine is Myers + Chang-great food, funky atmosphere (not your typical chinese restaurant) and there are some large tables so they would be able to accomodate the larger party.

Oh - I LOVE Kowloon's!

I did try to search for some Swedish restaurants or even Scandanavian, but, aside from Ikea and a couple of bakeries, no dice. Weird and sad. Another option is seafood, which is about as close to Scandanavian as we can get.

I don't care which restaurant we go to, Chinese wise, but Golden Temple always sticks out. We could go to Kowloon's on Route 1 as well...Really good Chinese, and i know they'd be able to seat a big party.

To be honest, I probably won't make it. Restaurant seating is none too comfy for me these days and I get really tuckered out after work. That's even assuming I'm have had Gunter yet, which is entirely possible!

So have fun! (I'll need somebody to deliver my secret santa gift!).

Hi, wanted to get the discussion started re: book club meeting in December. I can not do 12/7, is it possible to do 12/6 or 12/8? I have a company management dinner on 12/7.

In terms of a restaurant, the only thing i keep leaning towards is a chinese one as the dragon and xmas reminds me of Chinese food. ie. open on Xmas :)

Maybe Golden Temple?
