I think we're going with Sibling Rivalry as it best fit the theme of the book (and how!)
In London, there's a place called 'The Torture Garden' that would have been a good alternative as well, heh heh ;)
Looking forward to the Secret Santa!!!

I'm happy with Sibling Rivalry or chez Kelly, and am happy to bring wine, or anything else I can pick up after work. Rustic Kitchen is centrally located for some of us too, and he did have a rustic kitchen in his rustic cabin. Just throwing out another option....
Hi folks! A bit more discussion was had at Kath and Jim's xmas do earlier...
one idea that seems fitting to the storyline is Sibling Rivalry in the South End ;)
Though it is quite pricey with entrees in the $20-30 range, and I realize Santa's wallet is feeling a bit tight this time of year.
Alternatively, as I'm still peeved with the lack of Scandanavian dinging options in Greater Boston, I will happily crack open the Scandanavian cookbook I received for xmas last year and cook up something yummy - a nice baked salmon with some veggies and new potatoes on the side? Though it be a bit cheeky, a nice bottle of wine to help cover cost of salmon (which will get pricey to serve 7) would be nice. Or, we could just treat the grocery bill like a restaurant tab.
If keeping it at a restaurant is easier, we could just aim for somewhere more or less 'central' to folks driving / T-ing and seek out something in that Red Line Cambridge/Somerville/Arlington nexus?

My 2 cents is that I am willing to pay for fresh ingredient quality when it comes to Chinese food. MSG gives me quite the tummy ache = P
